There has been a lot of buzz going on in the community of Poshmark sellers about a new feature that they’ve recently rolled out.
It took me a little while to try it out, but I’ve finally implemented it and let me tell you – the results have been amazing!
I’ve been selling on Poshmark for over a year now and I have noticed how some of my items have tons of “likers” but no offers.
So, I now have the option to offer a “private discount” to these “likers” and potential buyers. When you make the private “price drop offer”, the liker gets a notification email (and it also pops up in their News feed) with the offer and 24 hours to make a decision to accept, decline or rebuttal.
The catch to the private discount is that you must drop the price by 10% AND include a shipping discount (I usually go with $1.50 off so they get $4.99 shipping).
Here’s where to find Poshmark “Price Drop” on your desktop:
And on mobile, it’s in the bottom right corner:
Here’s what pops up after (you can use either price drop but the one I’m talking about is the second option!):
Below is what my inbox looked like after my first round of sending out private offers:
As a seller, this is an incredible sight to wake up to!

Have you seen a spike Poshmark sales when using Price Drop option? If so, I’d love to hear your feedback and how it has impacted your sales on the Poshmark app!
PS: Do you sell across multiple platforms? Vendoo is an excellent tool and game changer in the world of cross-listing. With this listing app, you can post listings on Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Etsy, Grailed, Depop, Tradesy and Kidizen.
Let’s face it, posting across more than one platform is very time consuming. But with Vendoo, you can list on ALL of them at once!
